Why are you considering Powers Boulevard instead of Marksheffel or another roadway further east? That is where the growth will occur in the future.
There is already construction on parts of the Powers Corridor, and Feasibility Studies and EAs have been completed for Powers. Why is this taking so long? Isn't everything already decided?
Will Powers Boulevard be an expressway or will it be a freeway?
What about the METEX agreements that were made? Are they going to be honored? The original METEX agreements were for an expressway; will the Powers Boulevard honor that? Who will pay off the bonds that METEX has established?
Businesses along the ROW for Powers have already been required to dedicate ROW. Will they have to dedicate more?
What will happen to residential and business access?
Why did you pick the Northgate Road Interchange instead of the InterQuest Parkway Interchange for the northern I-25 connection?
Why is CDOT doing this project? I thought the city and county were doing a good job, why does CDOT need to be involved?
CDOT should consider other reasonable transportation modes (light rail, transit, etc) not just automobile travel. Why not build light rail like they have in Denver?
What will be the effect of the Powers Corridor modification on traffic patterns in neighborhoods next to or near the corridor? Need to keep traffic out of residential areas.
Is this the "eastern bypass" that was proposed for the I-25 Corridor?
